During the COVID-19 pandemic, I found myself taking walks outside more than ever before in my life (as I’m sure many others did). It was around this same time when I discovered podcasts as I was intrigued to learn more about the science behind the virus (great for those dinner table conversations) and was tired of listening to the same music over and over. Flash forwards a few years and thousands of dedicated hours under my belt and I’ve acquired a passion for listening to and learning from various podcasters – especially in the health and wellness space. Of all the resources I’ve utilized to become more educated on these topics, I can undoubtedly say that I’ve learned the most from the countless podcast episodes I’ve listened to (many 3+ hours long) featuring college professors, medical doctors, personal trainers, physical therapists, dieticians, and the like. Although I’ve enjoyed the hunt of finding the podcasts that supply the most up-to-date and accurate information, I would have benefited greatly from guidance before diving in headfirst.
