Since the earliest days of HIB, we’ve hammered home the importance of regular exercise, healthy eating, proper sleep, and stress management.
And yes, they are incredibly essential to our health indeed… however, there is a behavior we engage in more frequently than all of these combined and it doesn’t get near enough attention.
I hope your first thought didn’t jump to talking because I promise that’s not it.
Rather, it’s how we breathe.
Am I saying there’s a correct way to breathe and many of us have been doing it wrong for years? Yes, I am, in fact.
Getting right to it, according to loads of research, the way we should be breathing (if possible) is nasally – through the nose. It might seem insignificant on the surface since we inhale the same air whether it be through our nose or mouth, however, you’ll learn there’s a real contrast between the two.
