Introduction to Exercise
If you are one of the many that don't know where to start when it comes to exercising, here's your guide!
Warning: this post is longer than the ones to follow but stick with me as there’s an abundance of important information that you can immediately apply as well as key terms you’ll want to know for future posts.
Exercise, as mentioned in my introductory post (go back and read it if you haven’t!), is one of three foundational pillars of health alongside nutrition and sleep. I want to begin by saying that what you’re about to read is NOT an exhaustive list of exercise programs or an exhaustive list of the benefits of the different types of exercise training. However, I will provide a surface-level introduction to many different aspects of exercise, and I’ll expand upon this foundation in future posts.
