Even more specifically, time spent in direct contact with nature.
You may hear the words “grounding” and “earthing” tossed around in the health stratosphere.
And although it sounds a little woo-woo and hippyesque, evidence exists to support it.
Simply put, grounding (synonymous to earthing) is the practice of placing your body in contact with the earth and its natural charge. You might be thinking you do this every single day on your evening stroll, but grounding can actually only occur via direct contact.
