You MAY have heard this one a time or two before but I’m going to give you the rundown on not only the importance of movement but subtle ways that you likely haven’t considered to incorporate more movement into your day. I want to make it clear that I’m not only referring to structured exercise when I say ‘movement’ but also quite literally the amount you move your body throughout the day. First, why is it important to move?

There are MANY reasons why movement is crucial for our health and the benefits are evident both mentally and physically. I tend to focus on physical health so let’s change it up and begin with the mental/psychological side of things.
